Description
Egusi Soup—A rich and hearty West African classic made with finely ground melon seeds (“egusi”) that thicken a flavour-packed pepper broth of sweet red peppers, scotch bonnet, and onions. Cooked with an assortment of proteins, including beef, tripe (saki), cow skin (pomo), cow leg, stockfish, and crayfish. Optional additions like goat meat or snail are available at an extra charge. Seasoned to perfection with traditional spices and simmered with your choice of leafy greens—spinach, bitter leaf, kale, or ugu (fluted pumpkin). Enjoy it with your preferred swallow: eba, pounded yam, fufu, semo, or amala.
